Internal training "BIM"

On 25.11.2019, in ahw, an internal training took place on the topic "BIM".
All 4 branches also attended the training via Skype. Using the currect BIM projects under commission, the BIM experts of ahw, Mathis Becker, Yvonne Schwenne and Jessica Oerter, explained their recent experiences. As an early adopter of BIM, the ahw engineers gained insights about both Open and Closed BIM projects. In addition to attribute mapping and some innovations in model-based communication (BCF) with other professionals in the Open BIM model with ALLPLAN, the latest findings in special processing of Closed BIM were shared in REVIT. The following projects are currently being executed in BIM by ahw: ZESS Forschungszentrum RUB Bochum, Klinikum Braunschweig, FAIR Control Centre Darmstadt, Hüffer Campus Münster, Repurposing of Tegel Airport Berlin, Martin-Luther-King-Schule Münster.
The ahw engineers are currently working in the Fachgruppe Tragwerksplanung (Specialised structural design group), Regionalgruppe Ostwestfalen Lippe - Münster - Osnabrück des buildingSMART e.V. (the regional group Ostwestfalen Lippe - Münster - Osnabrück of buildingSMART e.V.) and various other presentations and project work on the development of standards and guidelines for BIM in structural design.
